I tried using konsole this morning and here is what I got: 17423 pts/3 Sl 0:00 konsole 18951 pts/4 Ss 0:00 \_ /bin/bash 2704 pts/4 R+ 0:00 \_ ps axf I have no idea why you don't get the same result.
