That depends on the amount of modules genkernel puts in your initrd. Later, when udev starts, it loads more modules, and your hardware should be 99% set up then. But when you notice, that you still need to load even more modules, then these are the only ones that need to go into /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 (as all others have been automatically loaded). So my suggestion is: just try it out, and use modules.autoload.d only for the remaining stuff :) Bye, Daniel --=20 PGP key @ http://pgpkeys.pca.dfn.de/pks/lookup?search=3D0xBB9D4887&op=3Dget # gpg --recv-keys --keyserver hkp://subkeys.pgp.net 0xBB9D4887 --=-8WVLJCZo//QqcrLWfEYx Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.11 (GNU/Linux) iEYEABECAAYFAkojqokACgkQg3+4tbudSIfvqACgrQN6tHaOZRavj8wb8WBeWZNR GvcAnR7GfDOrB1OZFBzXlucNAhHbG7Og =I87X -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-8WVLJCZo//QqcrLWfEYx--
