Even with CFLAGS="-O2" it breaks. According to the Wiki all the optimization flags I'm using should be ok on my arch, and indeed they do work with GCC 4.1. The only thing that's changed relatively recently was the upgrade to GCC 4.2 (and other software). The hardware and CFLAGS have been constant. -- Albert W.
