Subject: [gentoo-user] the new Xorg 7.3 with i810 - issues
Date: Mon, 10 Sep 2007 00:13:48 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1189376028.3651.15.camel@localhost> (raw)
Hi,
I upgraded my system (Fujitsu Pi1505) from 7.2 -> 7.3
First, when I started the X after the build, it hangs.
I figured out, I had to pud the Option "DDC" "No" into the Device
section to get it work.
Unfortunately gdm still not working and I have issues with the console
(console is gone, never come back, even kill X - the X screen does not
disappear, but I can type commands to the command prompt, like reboot :)
So, I'm interesting, does anybody run into this kind of problem?
If yes, how he fixed it?
I continue my mission to fix my system, I will write it, if I success.
Cheers,
István
