Hi,
I would like to know, does anybody have experinces with tracker?
I mean this tracker:
app-misc/tracker
Available versions: (~)0.5.4-r1 {applet debug fam gnome gsf
gstreamer jpeg pdf test thumbnailing xine}
Installed versions: 0.5.4-r1(10.37.50 2007-07-19)(applet -debug
fam gnome gsf gstreamer jpeg pdf -test -thumbnailing -xine)
Homepage: http://www.tracker-project.org/
Description: A tagging metadata database, search tool and
indexer
I am interesting in comparing tracker with beagle:
- is tracker faster (indexing) than beagle? For first sight, seems the
same
- is tracker less resource consuming than beagle? (I hope :)
Any experience are welcome.
István
