Hi folks,

why is the xdm startup script (/etc/init.d/xdm) and config stuff
(/etc/conf.d/xdm) in the xinit package, not in xdm ?

The xdm init and config file are also used to run gdm, kdm,
entrance, .... probably other display managers and not just the
"standard" xdm.
