If I remember correctly "--check" only checks the filesystem, it doesn't repair it. you have to check the exit status (echo $?) to see if it's '0'. it not you have to run reiserfsck --fix-fixable to correct the problems.=20 I hope I'm not mistaken, but you should read the man page before doing anything. it's been a few years since I last used reiserfs.
