Yup. Done it each time I emerged the ati drivers. Here it is again just
for the heck of it.

# opengl-update ati
 * Switching to ati OpenGL interface...
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
 * Caching service dependencies...                    [ ok ]

I wish it was that easy.... :\

Note the dates in:

/usr/lib/modules/extensions/

nothing new in a while.... Does Xorg need to be re-emerged to get this
working?

And does that file name libglx.so.1.0.7174 seem right?
