hi,
Hylafax does not work anymore
sendfax 06123456 /var/spool/fax/docq/doc2932.tif
Trying fax device '/dev/tty4c'... cannot open!
Trying fax device '/dev/tty4d'... cannot open!
sendfax: cannot access fax device(s) (locked?)
faxstat -r
HylaFAX scheduler on localhost: Running
Modem faxCAPI (+49.6100.123456): Running and idle
ps ax | grep fax
2304 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/c2faxrecv faxCAPI
2305 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/c2faxrecv faxCAPI
2306 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/c2faxrecv faxCAPI
2307 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/c2faxrecv faxCAPI
2377 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/faxq
2381 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/hfaxd -i hylafax
2382 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/hfaxd -i hylafax
2383 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/hfaxd -i hylafax
2384 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/hfaxd -i hylafax
router fax #
Why /dev/tt4c instead of /dev/capi20 or something else?
/etc/hylafax/config
LogFacility: daemon
CountryCode: 49
AreaCode: 0600
LongDistancePrefix: 0
InternationalPrefix: 00
DialStringRules: "etc/dialrules"
ServerTracing: 1
SendFaxCmd: /usr/bin/c2faxsend
Sending fax by hand via c2faxsend works
I have a AVM ISDN Fritz Card. The config.faxCAPI is same, nothing changed

prw------- 1 uucp uucp 0 Mar 18 16:43 FIFO.capi
prw-rw-rw- 1 uucp uucp 0 Jul 7 13:38 FIFO.faxCAPI
Any hints?
