X-Archives-Salt: 1d46e7f5-1972-4faf-bbb2-805e049b6bb1 X-Archives-Hash: 0ae2d8a60e21db245dcb60779a146a07 Hi all, I always get this message at the end of an emerge or when running rc-update: >>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache... * Caching service dependencies... * Cannot add provide 'firewall', as a service with the same name exists! However, my firewall loads fine at boot and works correctly... I tried to > rc-update del firewall > rc-update add firewall default but this is not the problem (I guess the problem is in the dependencies, not with the rc scripts...). I emerged shorewall recently, but did not set it up, and decided not to use it. Could this have changed something in the system? Thanks to all Marc -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
