Subject: [gentoo-user] Compiling pam--0.77-r1 fails
Date: Wed, 8 Dec 2004 07:43:16 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <001701c4dd3c$a26809c0$2f0000c0@Joel> (raw)

I've been trying to chase down the cause of this compile fail off and on for
a couple weeks with no luck. It looks like a German Gentoo user is having a
similar problem, but since I can't read German I'm still searching for an
answer.

The problem pops up mid-compile, launched by doing an "emerge -u world". It
seems to go along ok, then spits this out :

I've tried doing an "env-update", but no luck there, nor does running
ldconfig seem to help. Every time, it stops at the same place. Any ideas?
