Ядро 2.6.23-gentoo-r3 не видит дисковод (флоппи) - второй день пытаюсь его вернуть.

И это при всем, что в конфигурации ядра стоит:
BLK_DEV_FD=y
CONFIG_ARCH_MAY_HAVE_PC_FDC=y

Пытался так подключить дискету:
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy    auto            user,noauto             0 0
и так:
/dev/floppy  /mnt/floppy auto user,noauto 0 0

При загрузке пишется, что fd0 подключить не удается. 
В windows дискета подключается.
