Hier gibt es nur IceWM, daher habe ich keine Ahnung von KDE. Allerdings
gibt es seit längerer Zeit Schwierigkeiten mit libcdio. Möglicherweise
nur mit SATA-Laufwerken wie bei mir.
Ein Beispiel ist xcdroast. Unbrauchbar. Erkennt keine CDs mehr.
alsaplayer spielt keine CDs mehr. Ein Aufruf von audaciuos zeigt, wo das
Problem liegt:

Es ist auch interessant, mit den Tools von libcdio zu spielen.
qlist libcdio | grep bin
Nun ja, ich höre selten CD. Brenne selten welche und wenn, dann nehme
ich jetzt halt cdw. Kein großer Anreiz nach Bugs zu suchen oder einen
anzulegen. Letzteres könnte dazu führen, dass man in die Beseitigung des
Problems verwickelt wird. ;)
