Hallo zusammen,
nach langer Abstinenz muss ich wieder ein System aufsetzen, das
mit gentoo läuft.
Ich gehe dabei genau nach den Anweisungen im wiki vor.
Zuerst habe ich die virtuelle Hardware konfiguriert,
mit einer Minimal-CD gestartet.
Dann kamen die üblichen Schritte: stage-3-Archiv auspacken,
die mounts durchführen und chroot.
Nach dem emerge --sync wollte ich ein eselect für den Kernel
durchführen.
Die Meldung war jedoch, das /etc/portage/make.profile auf keine
gültige Datei zeigt.
Das Verzeichnis /var/db/repos/gentoo existierte zwar, war aber leer.
Im stage-3-Archiv war es auch leer.
Meine Frage also:
Wo bekomme ich den Inhalt von /var/db/repos her?
