Hallo,
ich will meine Gentoo-Installation auf ein 3Ware-Raid5 umziehen lassen.
Ich denke / hoffe das ich mit dd und/ oder Acronis die Nummer schnell
über die Bühne bekommen.
Präventiv die Frage wie sich das Raid-device im System darstellt.
hd wwohl kaum eher sdx oder kommt nur ein anderes Device ins Spiel?

Ich habe hier einen 7xxx ide-Raid Controller von 3-ware, der sda zur
Verfuegung stellt.

Yeap,
habe es mittlerweile einfach mal gemacht.
dd von alter IDE Platte auf neues SCSI-Raid und in Grub hda3 auf sda3
geändert. Danach noch fstab angepaßt
Der Neustart hat einwandfrei geklappt.
