Hallo Liste
Ich habe keine Ahnung wieso, aber mein opnentpd will nicht mehr. Starte ich
ihn von Han mit Option -d kommt folgendes:
ntpd -d
fatal: bad privsep dir permissions
dispatch_imsg in main: pipe closed
Lost child: child exited
Terminating
Kann mir da jemand helfen? Ich habe an den Optionen nichts geändert...

Wie sieht /var/empty bzw. das Verzeichnis, welches in der
/etc/conf.d/ntpd in NTPD_HOME steht aus? Existiert es? Ist es les- und
schreibbar für OpenNTPD?

Ja existieren tuts:
ls -la /var/empty/
insgesamt 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 ntp root 72 17. Mär 13:35 .
drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 336 4. Aug 14:17 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 17. Mär 13:35 .keep
Ist das ok?

`chown root /var/empty` sollte helfen.
