Sorry, aber wenn Du wirklich so sehr Anfänger bist, das Du _unbedingt_
das grafische Installationstool brauchst und ohne gar nicht kannst,
dann ist gentoo ehrlich gesagt wohl noch eine Nummer zu groß für Dich.
Ich würde Dir da lieber erstmal ne (k)ubuntu Installation empfehlen.
Wenn Du die zwei oder dreimal hinter dir hast (am besten den
Text-installer, nicht die grafische) und Du dann am System optimieren
und selber machen willst und debian/ubuntu Dir zu eng wird, dann ist
gentoo für die tägliche Arbeit zu gebrauchen. Wenn es Dir "nur" ums
lernen von Grund auf geht, dann ist gentoo natürlich jetzt schon
richtig. Aber dann brauchst Du auch keine Grafik, sondern vi und ne
Konsole. (Und auf nem zweiten Rechner daneben die
Installationsanleitung, diverse Handbücher und Tante-google.)
All die grafischen Werkzeuge sind schön. Aber wenn man unter
24bit-Farbtiefe meint nicht arbeiten zu können, ist man wohl höchstens
ein Webdesigner. (Ich hätte da vielleicht noch eine BeOS-Lizenz für
Dich, Interesse? :)
