Yo, ein Segmentation Fault im Linker heißt üblicherweise, das die
Hardware defekt ist, sehr wahrscheinlich der Speicher. ld selbst ist
nun Jahrelang im einsatz, da leisten sich die Entwickler schon sehr
lange keine Speicherzugriffsfehler mehr...
Einfach mal memtest ein oder zwei nächste laufen lassen, natürlich mit
allen Tests, nicht nur den standardmäßigen drei. Wenn der was findet,
Speicher tauschen.

Wenn man mit Raubkopien Bands wie Brosis oder Britney Spears wirklich
verhindern könnte, würde ich mir noch heute einen Stapel Brenner und
einen Sack Rohlinge kaufen.
