Hallo.
Ich spiele momentan mit dem Gedanken, einen zweiten Monitor an meinen Rechner
anzuschließen.
Bisher habe ich gar nicht ausreichend DVI-Ports am Gerät, daher muss ich diese
Frage stellen bevor ich etwas ausprobieren kann, schließlich muss ich zuerst
die richtige Grafikkarte kaufen... :)
Gibt es aktuell eine Grafikkarte, bei der ich mehrere (DVI-)Monitore benutzen
und im desktop-expansion-Modus betreiben kann? Das Ganze bitte ohne
Binärtreiber.
Kommt KDE 4 mit so etwas überhaupt klar?
Vor vielen Jahren bei meinen ersten Schritten mit einem Mandrake-Installer
wurde mir dieses Setup damals mit einer alten Matrox-Karte ohne Zicken
installiert und hat wunderbar funktioniert. Seither habe ich das Thema nie
mehr verfolgt.
Wenn man aber anschaut, wie viele ehemalige Selbstverständlichkeiten momentan
bei X.org und bei KDE 4 komplett am Allerwertesten sind, möchte ich lieber
nochmal nach fragen.
