Hi,

ich hatte gestern endlich mal Zeit meinen neuen Rechner zusammenzubauen und 
Gentoo zu installieren. Ich hab gestern auch noch etliche Programme 
kompiliert - alles ohne Probleme...

Heute morgen habe ich emerge dann 2 kde meta pakete bauen lassen und als ich 
vom Frühstück zurück kam sah ich folgendes auf meinem Bildschirm:

Hardware Error
Cpu 0: Machine Check Exception: 4 Bank 4: ba000000000b000f

This is not a software problem.

Kernel panic - not syncinc. Machine check

Ich hab dann einfach reset gedrückt, der Rechner bootete normal, mittlerweile 
sind die Pakete auch installiert, sogar openoffice baut bis jetzt ohne 
Probleme.

Mich würde interessieren, was dieser Fehler bedeutet.
