Hallo @all,
ich hab mal testhalber auf den neuen iwl-treiber um gestellt, funz auch
prima,
ausser das keinen Kontrolllampe leuchtet, aber man braucht ja nicht
alles ;-)
Laut googel sollte kismet denn iwl3945-Treiber auch unterstützen, kommt
aber mit der Meldung: unknow source.
Liegt es einfach daran, dass kismet in einer älteren Version als ebuild
vorliegt oder muss ich da speziell was anpassen ?

Und warum fehlt bei aircrack-ng die Hälfte ( kein airodump usw) ?

bei aircrack würde ich mal stark vermuten, dass das an den deutschen
hackerparagraph angepasst wurde
kann mich aber auch täuschen

Hallo,
Seit längerer Zeit plagt mich das Problem, dass mein einer
USB-Port (Bus 5) stockend arbeitet. Egal, was für eine Peripherie ich
dran hab'. Unter Windows kann ich das Phänomen, genauso wie an dem
zweiten Port (Bus 4), nicht beobachten. Damit schließe ich einen
Defekt der Hardware aus.
Das "stocken" kommt meistens erst nach einiger Zeit, setzt manchmal
wieder aus, usw. :

Oh, verdammt, da dachte ich wohl, wenn ich das "Subject" ändere, kann
ich auch eine Nachricht mittels Antworten erstellen.
Immerhin habe ich mal nen Blick af Message-header
geworfen...naja vorher wusste ich nichts von "replay-to:".
Ansonsten ist dies natürlich auch meine Entschuldigung für den

amüsante These, aber es wäre mir neu, dass sich eine - im eigentlichen
Sinne - länderunabhängige Distribution ausgerechnet an die deutschen
Gesetze halten müsste! Wenn man so will, greift höchstens amerikanisches
Recht, da die Gentoo Foundation hier ihre Wurzeln hat und unter
Umständen haftet - wobei dies bestimmt auch noch fraglich wäre, da es
sich ja um eine Community handelt, deren Mitglieder (incl.
Ebuild-Maintainer) aus der ganzen Welt stammen.
Und zur Lösung des Problems: `USE=wifi emerge aircrack-ng`

Danke. Ist mir gestern Abend auch gekommen.
Aber kismet lässt denn iwl3945 nicht gelten. Liegts daran das
wpa_supplicant gestartet wird per default ?
Würde mich wundern, klappte ja beim ipw3945 auch (?). Bzw. hab ichs noch
nicht raus, wie ich die W-Lan Karte in den Monitor-Modus schalte. Oder
unterstützt der iwl-Treiber den nicht ?
