Hast du vielleicht nls in deinen USE flags ? Und ganz zufällig auch noch
LINGUAS="de" in /etc/make.conf ?
Dann kommt das von sys-apps/man-pages, da seit neuestem diese bei USE="nls"
die entsprechenden lokalisierten man-pages nachinstallieren (PDEPEND).
