Hallo!
Ich habe ein System so konfiguriert, dass ich ihn per Wake on LAN (WOL)
starten kann. (Dazu muss ich nach jedem Neustart mit "ethtool -s wol g
enp3s0" das horchen auf das Magic Packet einschalten)
Nun möchte ich den gestarteten Rechner wieder herunterfahren.
Bei jedem zweiten Mal (reproduzierbar!) schaltet sich der Rechner nicht
ab sondern, macht einen Neustart. Ich habe es auch mit mehreren Befehlen
versucht (halt, halt -p, shutdown -h now, shutdown-H -P now)
Jemand eine Idee, was da passiert bzw. wie man das abstellen kann?

Du hast nicht eventuell noch so etwas wie
default saved
in deiner GRUB bzw. Bootloader Konfiguration stehen?
Ansonsten fiele mir momentan auch nicht mehr dazu ein.

Problem gelöst.
Nachdem ich hier

von obskuren BIOS-Einstellungen gelesen haben, die einen Reboot statt
Shutdown nach WOL ausgelöst haben bzw. verhindert haben, zudem noch im
Zusammenhang mit Asus-Mainboards, habe ich ein BIOS-Update des Asus
H87-Pro Mainboards durchgeführt.
Siehe da: es tut wie es soll. Kein unerwünschter reboot nach WOL.
