Hi,

ich wurde gerade im Zuge einer Bugmeldung die GCC-Config probeweise
umzustellen, was meine Maschine in das totale Chaos geführt hat.
Offenbar hat python nicht mitbekommen, daß der Library-Pfad wieder
zurückgestellt wurde, denn nahezu jedes Portage Programm liefert nun
eine Fehlermeldung:

# emerge
/usr/bin/python: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/libgcc_s.so.1:
version `GCC_3.3' not found (required
by /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.4/libstdc++.so.6)

Beim Umstellen selber passiert übrigens folgendes:

# gcc-config -l
[1] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.2.3
[2] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4 *
[3] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4-hardened
[4] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4-hardenednopie
[5] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4-hardenednopiessp
[6] i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4-hardenednossp

# gcc-config 1
 * Switching to i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.2.3 compiler ...

 * env-update failed to work properly; making sure ld.so.conf paths
 * are setup properly.  Please rerun gcc-config with the -f option.

ldconfig: /usr/lib/libptal.so.0 is not a symbolic link

ldconfig: /usr/lib/libhpojip.so.0 is not a symbolic link

ldconfig: /lib/ld-linux.so.1 is not a symbolic link

[ ok ]
 * If you intend to use the gcc from the new profile in an already
 * running shell, please remember to do:

 *   # source /etc/profile


# gcc-config 2
 * Switching to i686-pc-linux-gnu-3.4.4 compiler ...

Yo, ich schaffe das. Letztendlich hat sich /usr/bin/python immer
beschwert, seines Zeichens ein Link auf /usr/bin/python2.4. Nachdem ich
den kurz auf python2.3 umgestellt habe, konnte ich wieder ein env-update
durchführen.

Danach wurde python wieder auf python2.4 gelegt und seitdem geht es
wieder.
