2 elevado à 16ª potência = 65536
Basicamente isso quer dizer que com 16 bits, pode-se representar até
65536 valores de cores, no caso, diferentes.
Isso parte do mesmo princípio do qual com 3 dígitos (na base decimal),
você pode representar até 1000 números, de 000 à 999. Com 16 bits (16
dígitos na base binária), você representa de 0000000000000000 à
1111111111111111. Em decimal isso se traduz para 0 à 65535.
