So, I'll bring up this topic again, now that Daniel has set a date to close
the store..
Do we want to go ahead with Cafepress? Their CD prices are a hair under $5,
so if we sold at daniel's price of $10 we could profit quite a bit.. Looking
at the sales of 2004.3 x86 cd's alone from the store last year, we would
profit $7,500...
Thoughts? I've got an e-mail into them about quantity and what all they can
handle (thinking of release times)..

Hi Corey,
I think that cafepress could work. That way you don't need to have
someone taking time out of their day to fulfill orders, etc. which in
our experience the current store was unable to financially support.
But I think cafepress is a good fit for the current volume of orders.
You could probably pull in between $500 and $1000 a month,
particularly if you are also selling CDs through cafepress.
Regards,
Daniel

I checked out cafepress, if we use the "premium" shop package, we could
even make the shop look really official and have other advantages.

yeah, and they don't charge much at all for that service.. If we want to go
with that we should jump on the ball soon, make an easy transparent switch
from store-to-store

Hi Corey,
You could also talk to Toni or Melissa at Triple J screenprinting
(http://stitchandprint.com) and see if they have any other
suggestions. They have all our artwork on file for embroidery and
screenprinting. They may have a service to do fulfillment... might be
worth asking and would be nice to carry the nice stuff if it would be
somehow possible.
