Hi everybody.

I'm surprised by how few requests I have received from students for
shell accounts and git repositories. If you are using some external repository,
or don't need a shell account, I'd love to just get an email saying you're
good.

To request either, please send me a direct email:
Subject: GSoC2010 - student request: repo, shell

And include: ssh public key, suggested username, suggested repo name.

#Student: Title
#Amadeusz Zolnowski: Port the new distro-neutral initrd framework
Username: aidecoe
Repo@git.o.g.o: NONE REQUESTED

#Christopher Harvey: Ventoo - Visual Configure file editor
Username: charvey
Repo@git.o.g.o: proj/ventoo

#Joachim Bartosik: Help Gentoo Council and Recruiters by providing web based applications
Username: NONE REQUESTED
Repo@git.o.g.o: proj/recruiting-webapp

#Kostyantyn Ovechko: "IDFetch" (Intelligent Distfile Fetcher)
Username: simka
Repo@git.o.g.o: proj/idfetch

#Mu Qiao: Improve NetworkManager integration with Gentoo
Username: qiaomuf
Repo@git.o.g.o: NONE REQUESTED

#Nathan Eloe: Bash Programmatic and AST access
Username: NONE REQUESTED
Repo@git.o.g.o: proj/libbash

#Otavio Pontes: Multiple Repository Support in sys-apps/portage
Username: otaviobp
Repo@git.o.g.o: NONE REQUESTED

#Rafael Goncalves Martins: Improve the Octave/Matlab support.
Username: rafaelmartins
Repo@git.o.g.o: NONE REQUESTED

#Wei Xie: The Gentoo Council Web Application
Username: NONE REQUESTED
Repo@git.o.g.o: proj/council-webapp

The following students I have not heard from at all:

#Auke Booij: G-CRAN
#Constanze Hausner: Portage/ebuild ability to use file-based capabilities rather than setuid
#Andreas Nuesslein: webapp-config rewrite
#Detlev Casanova: Revive Kuroo

#John-Patrik Nilsson: Gentoo-x86 QA Website
#Naohiro Aota: Porting Portage and its tools to DragonFly BSD.

#Priit Laes: Project Grumpy
#Wiktor W Brodlo: G-PEAR

I don't know what else Detlev might need, but he's set up already on the
kuroo project at sourceforge.

Hey robbat,

I guess I could use a git repo for g-cran to dump some hacks, but it's
nothing substantial yet. I might join up with a couple of guys later
(domen kozar and wiktor w brodlo), and we might need a repository
later, but we'd like to agree on a plan of attack first.

Thanks,
Auke.
