[gentoo-soc] PMS Test Suite, weekly report #8

Hello, all.

Short summary: PMS Test Suite is a suite of tools and a test library
to test any of the Gentoo Package Managers for compliance against
the Package Manager Specification.

The project is running ahead of schedule, new schedule is in progress.

This week brought:
- a first release for testing -- 0.0.1,
- fixes for dist,
- tests for AA & KV,
- multiple patches to PMS [1], and a few open suggestions [2],
- unified way of creating tests using SRC_URI,
- enhanced support for EAPI specs, to distinguish between EAPIs
  supported by tests and EAPIs important to tests -- resulting
  in a thorough test mode support,
- a separate 'gentoopm' project which will provide a common API to
  various PMs in Gentoo [3].

Next week should bring:
- advancements in the gentoopm project,
- move of gentoopm into git.o.g.o,
- introduction of a separate module to handle test output -- in future,
  it will allow to not only print test results but also generate
  reports.
