A few of you have caught me on IRC and asked me about whether you should 
have your proposal reviewed before you submit it on the website. First 
of all, don't worry if you've already submitted because it isn't 
necessary. However...

If there is a prospective mentor for your project, I encourage you to 
have him or her review it to make sure it's realistic. I'm also 
available to provide a general review on whether your application will 
provide enough detail, whether it's planned well, and whether it's clear 
and convincing to non-experts (which most of the reviewers are).
