Subject: [gentoo-server] Checking a block device
Date: Wed, 4 Aug 2010 08:13:30 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <AANLkTi=C9L27cy9hkPsR0=dMW12F93v+GPzEq3d2hWZP@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hello all,
How can I check if a block device (partition) has one or any of the
following characteristics:
[1] raw
[2] has content
[3] formatted
but without actually mounting it?
Please advice. Thank you in advance.
Regards,
GNUbie
