That's true from where I'm looking.
Right now I'm thinking of moving over to g a couple of ubuntu 10 LTS servers running as file servers using samba over to gentoo. Why? Gentoo is more stable and easier to maintain, hands down. More stable as i can install only what is needed and so avoid upgrading a bunch of packages i dont need. But i'm preaching to the choir here.
