You *must* use the USE-Flag pae for your System!
You need also the following kernel-params:
 CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G=y
 CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y
 CONFIG_X86_PAE=y

Please recompile all needed packages and/or the used Kernel and test again.

Hi Bodo,

did all the things you said. I've had to recompile xen after changing
the useflags. I've added the kernel-parameters as you mentioned but ...

same result. The boot process just stops.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to boot into my build xen-kernel. I've followed the guide on
gentoo.org: (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xen-guide.xml)

I've configured grub etc. 
The grub menu will show, after selecting the xen-kernel to boot, the
system hangs showing this message:

and that's it :(
