I've just removed the octave-forge stuff from the science overlay.
Please help to encourage users to use g-octave. ;)
I also added a news item to the overlay. Attached.

You will need to use app-portage/g-octave to install the octave-forge

Perhaps you should better have done it the other way round. Add a news
and remove the packages then. Now people will scream!
The news is fine with me, but perhaps you should say:
"install the equivalent packages to octave-forge"
instead of
"install the octave-forge stuff"

I did all at once because some of the packages were still broken, and
people was reporting issues for that unmaintained packages.
But yes, some people will complain. :(
