Ah ... OK ... I'll test it tonight. On a related note (I forget the bug 
number) I built Axiom Silver November 2007 from the upstream tarball 
yesterday. It builds its own gcl, and the version of gcl 2.6.8 that it 
uses doesn't work on AMD64. 2.6.7 does work.
