Date: Mon, 22 Jan 2007 04:21:57 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <45B411B5.7090303@vkonovalov.ru> (raw)

following error:

=====
gevad sci # USE="doc vim emacs fftw" emerge -pv asymptote

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies /
Conditional without parenthesis: 'fftw?'

('ebuild', '/', 'sci-visualization/asymptote-1.20', 'merge')

>=sys-libs/readline-4.3-r5 >=sys-libs/ncurses-5.4-r5 dev-libs/libsigsegv
boehm-gc? >=dev-libs/boehm-gc-6.7 virtual/tetex fftw?
>=sci-libs/fftw-3.0.1 emacs? ( virtual/emacs ) gsl? ( sci-libs/gsl )
vim? ( app-editors/vim ) >=sys-devel/autoconf-2.5
>=sys-devel/bison-1.875 >=sys-devel/flex-2.5.4a-r5 doc? (
>=media-gfx/imagemagick-6.1.3.2 virtual/ghostscript
>=sys-apps/texinfo-4.7-r1 )

This package can not be installed. Please notify the
'sci-visualization/asymptote-1.20' package maintainer about this
problem.

=====

... this error goes away without fftw flag.

Besides, there is also following error in recent 'sci' portage:

!!! Digest verification failed:
!!! /usr/local/sci/sci-chemistry/ghemical/ghemical-2.10.ebuild
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got: 1689
!!! Expected: 1682
 -

!!! Invalid or corrupt dependency specification:

Thanks for providing useful packages!

BR,
Vadim.
