  Hello!
  I cannot emerge Sage because the required
sci-mathematics/lcalc-1.23-r4 package fails to download.

Here's what it says:

Hi Vladimir,

as far as I know - yes - unless we switch to use the sage spkg.
I will look into it, they may have moved it.
Thanks for reporting broken stuff like this in any case.

It appears to have just been a temporary server downtime. It is back up again.
There is a google project for lcalc but no tarball there. I may see if a live
ebuild would work (considering how long ago the last change was I am not sure
we can use the term live).
