The idea behind those tags is to generate easily a decent per package
information page some of the Gentoo packages web site could use, or
even automate version checking with a script parsing those tags,
etc...It would also be nice to force a few tags in our packages, so we
could share our package exploring and save some time if we happen to
fix this particular package bug. We could thing of more tags as well,
such as <testing> to describe a recipe on how to test difficult
packages for stabilization.

+1 for more metadata. The testing idea has been raised by Diego on
dev-ml, we could wait and see for the conclusion there.
