Hi: I'm emerging  sci-blas/blas-atlas-3.8.0  and I get several errors.
I've put below a bunch of the error lines from the logfile.
1) is it normal to have that many errors?
2) At the end, blas-atlas didn't compile. Should I go back to 3.7.11 instead?

Hi everyone,

blas-atlas fails with something in configure, it tries to call gcc -V.
(-V allows to use other installed gcc instead of the one you are
calling, how weird is that...)

I have lost track of the latest development there, have you seen this
bug or should I report it:
