I have for
ecl-config --ldflags && ecl-config --libs

on 32bit

  -L/usr/lib/ -lecl -Wl,-O1   -ldl  -lm
  -L/usr/lib/ -lecl -Wl,-O1   -ldl  -lm

and on amd64

  -L/usr/lib64/ -lecl -Wl,-O1   -lpthread -ldl  -lm
  -L/usr/lib64/ -lecl -Wl,-O1   -lpthread -ldl  -lm
