Hey guys,
It would appear that either the script "sage-native-execute" or a patch to do
something similar to the script is needed in order for the notebook to
function. I believe the use of the script is called from within the Expect
class in sage/interfaces/expect.py.
Steve

Sorry! I rewrote sage-scripts completely in 4.4.3-r1 (and I think i have
tested it, but now i am no longer sure) but it apparently does not work with
4.4.4. If have fixed this in sage-scripts-4.4.4-r1.

There was some messages on sage-devel about some things not working
quite right with it today. However because we are already "native" we
shouldn't really suffer these problems.
Actually it would be good to find a way of bypassing it.
Cheers,
Francois

Hi,
I dont know if its related to the scripts, but I just noticed that there are
tests which time out (and which used to work in sage-4.4.3):
sage -t -force_lib "devel/sage/doc/en/bordeaux_2008/nf_introduction.rst"
sage -t -force_lib "devel/sage/doc/en/tutorial/tour_rings.rst"
...
Cheers,
Christopher

Francois pointed me to right direction: Rebuilding maxima solved the issue!
