Hi all -
To make things easier, I am going to switch up the format of release
notes. Instead of having each arch write release notes, which warranted
a ton of duplicated information, I am going to compile a master release
notes set and include arch specific settings.

So, the only change is to send me whatever arch specific bits you would
like in the notes by Friday. If you have nothing to add, please send me
a note to that effect.

Cheers,

What about those of us who put the release notes on the LiveCD's?

/me comes out of the woodwork

Personally I think it's a little late to make these changes. If we have
different release notes on the CD than on the website, it's bound to cause
un-needed confusion, bugs and general panic (though not necessarily in
that order). I do think the improvement is a good idea, but since
everyone already has their release media up and propagating, (IMO) it
should probably wait until 2004.3

/me goes back into the woodwork
