Subject: [gentoo-python] Removed python from bzr ebuilds
Date: Wed, 22 Feb 2012 10:02:44 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAKmKYaCnqO_DE4+1+A1tChtdts9C0i=Wk_iYS-=2sHfAQEAHCg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Hi there,

FYI: since the python team is (like many other teams) understaffed at
the moment (despite appearances to the contrary), and since the bzr
ebuilds are more of an application than a python library, and already
have their own herd which seems more than capable of maintaining qbzr,
bzr and bzrtools, I removed python from the metadata and most bugs for
these packages. Hope that's okay.

Cheers,

Dirkjan
