Hello,
I've created a new PR some time ago to add a new package to Gentoo. In understand this PRs have the least priority and its fine. My doubt was regarding that package updates, since the package has been updated and the PR is pointing to an older version.
Should I update the PR to update the current package version with the most up-to-date version or can I leave the PR as it is and request an update once it has been merged?
Cheers!

No need, if a dev wants to merge an old PR then they should ask to
know if you're still interested and want to update it. Wouldn't be
reasonable to request to keep it ready at all times if it's
unfortunately not really being looked at.
If not already, an option to consider is to add it to GURU[0] and keep
it updated there instead so people can use it.
