With respect, this is the problem Gentoo faces .. either you address the
issues, or you continue hiding from them, and sweeping them under the
carpet. Historically there's never been a particularly good solution - and
consequently time goes on, making the same noises, half-assing the response
and just generally looking incompetent. If you're gonna have a policy on
something - use it .. quit bickering about its contents, and live with it.
That's my point here, and it amuses me each time some more time is wasted
bike-shedding "what to do" .. and just general lag. If people, self
included, actually DID as much as they shout/bicker/bike-shed about, this
distribution wouldn't have half the problems of manpower it suffers...

Yes, perhaps I'm being a bit of a psycho martyr here, but I think a few
people need to hear examples of "what went wrong" so they can look at "why"
and perhaps explore "what should we do better" - but that's probably a bit
optimistic on my part ..
