If there's interest in growing Gentoo, it should be Gentoo developers who care enough about it to do something, like maffblaster who started/resurrected the gentoo-news project. *That* is something that could engage the community and keep people up-to-date on what's going on. Naturally, it'll need more developers to be involved, but every large thing started out small, so it has tons of room to grow. Making this thing or that thing mandatory adds to the already protracted processes of our structure. It's an idea that sounds good in general but when applied to our context (non-profit, volunteer work), it doesn't work= =2E --=20 Daniel Campbell - Gentoo Developer OpenPGP Key: 0x1EA055D6 @ hkp://keys.gnupg.net fpr: AE03 9064 AE00 053C 270C 1DE4 6F7A 9091 1EA0 55D6 --CfLAq4TfIoKafvE3LFPxTf6SUT6Hw3MUi-- --sFgniRTCPn0s9QRt9B2FIbC6tXpLBwF6G Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCAAdFiEEgIn+0tMDW9PQWDLnASQOlFA54XAFAliEXvkACgkQASQOlFA5 4XDCaBAApcV2+bEgSF2Qzz58FUPVRFrxxsYH2+E7XHzcH+jCISZcjO5RQTwemRBf Eockx7Xqzw0GfluUKl2BjdqrgbBYCqRXzrSS1C2DxV3FXbJ6tcY3K/Ei7bEbpAoY 0D40vDF0CUwDPGkS1tEIRTUdlufyp1R8SjFLfQu3kTNd54M3auGGtUQ24AfdAmDa KpkyAKVQKoXMzvbP446cOvPJuqCwbdKfTl5ez1T6OLDYbG/BE8pkLLJiQm7QlaXk Tu0u4pfVp+fc644p+a6L+Dh6MrrGbhtxbaft8M26lcZ/hniH0YWFXMzBcJ4s01QP cQf0NjKtKP6bf7zRYszrIiqx+oZg7G3WmyNKiJTDJ9hxEhB6jjgeOmLkQoqFphq2 RepmTsu1lv+qUgQXnNpmNeb548rUVlfWRrbKoYzgRvoMb+GTMhQUYP1ttnvbnUYD DfHV5zeCfnUfJDdBPOHF7ziCaxn/t/d9M1XTBtHB6Rfx74jZtu0FUy5K6Fx0uYSB HgB8Wl++lbbJyab+eA+xz8DIzNTAthT/n8OhVA5D6ZvwqypjHub7QIrrz8tWlfqv D1nv/T5I31DKIPbfeJor15tFTg+/MXkuOQ/Gzjbg7fMQutGjjtNf9bm7QBHlqegd 5R9Z8GdKNsh8gjJYaDm06bR6+svQ7W+OB998cXQTPCIJWHYh864= =mwSG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --sFgniRTCPn0s9QRt9B2FIbC6tXpLBwF6G--
