Thanks - I appreciate that you can't always be around.  This is really
what I was looking for from QA.

The GLEP is fairly open-ended, and this came up in the Council
meetings before we reconstituted QA.  There was even debate over
whether we should appoint anybody to QA until we clarify policy.
Instead we took the minimal step of making the QA lead accountable to
the Council but mostly leaving the GLEP alone in the hope that QA
could help establish its own direction.

As I said, for the most part I think it has been going well.  Anytime
I pop into -qa on irc I see a lot of work that frankly we should all
be a lot more appreciative of.

Please do continue to work with your team to clarify policy.  I'd
encourage the rest of the community to do whatever you can to make
their lives easier.

AND TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!!  If the council could turn that into a
policy I'm sure we would...
