I see the new website launch announced to the world, and it suggests
that wwwold will no longer be updated. How exactly does one update
content on the new website? Is the content still being driven by the
same cvs repository? Or, should we start creating wiki pages for all
new content, like council meeting summaries/etc.

No, it's sites/www.git. (note there is no project-related content there)

New project-related content goes indeed to the Wiki.
Files (such as meeting logs) that are not suited as Wiki pages will get
an appropriate hosting venue in the next few days.

I thought I should say this...
The new website looks fantastic! Congratulations for everyone that
worked on it! We should try to have some sort of howto for dev blogs, so
they look just as nice as the rest of the Gentoo websites. I don't have
a blog yet, but if I had one, I wouldn't mind using the same theme as
the other sites.
The CGA site was also a great idea. Gentoo is the best!
