in a few hours the nomination period for the Council Election will open.
At the moment we have 2 officials for this election (me and David
Abbot), so there's still one vacancy. If you're a Gentoo Developer and
don't want to run for the election, please consider becoming an
official for it.

Answering questions and validating the election process.
This involves opening up the election, track nominations and
acceptances / declinations in the election page, passing to the infra
contact the details for the election (voters, nominees, officials,
election name), providing updates on voting participation, validating
the results, publishing the results and throughout the process clear
any doubts regarding the process.
