After some short setup time and becoming comfortable with it, I believe I will help keywording and stabilization effort. So I think we will have no issues to be up there with amd64 in state. Based on previous history with rekeywording for dev-python/* packages (sigh, upstream love to add new dependencies), sparc is one of the fastest. In stabilizations they are mostly one of the first. So I would like to ask for sparc to remain stable. Also, it would be nice if we had some kind of metric to measure if an arch isn't "fast" enough. And in this place, I want to call other Gentoo developers to join the various arches teams. They are nice and will help you to enter it, so we could bring even better experience to our users. We have dev boxes, even monster size like the sparc one. --=20 Arthur Zamarin arthurzam@gentoo.org Gentoo Linux developer (Python, GURU, Sparc) --------------pGr2EbBySh6GpzqbhMxI5W18-- --------------2x9N9wteZY75hkXTrvTOII22 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="OpenPGP_signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="OpenPGP_signature" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEzBAEBCgAdFiEE/axFlFuH2ptjtO5EAqCvUD0SBQQFAmGJhLwACgkQAqCvUD0S BQT+Swf6A7g1KJ4joxcv5+cnFMssKyHCe1///bHzBMzRnOOvFqWxWqou/qeq9rUU bLThZeJ1FDaK//dZVfXsyh1IxJrpoCFfMsfdETRKaXBZ27mKTEU4YY/mOU+xN7UP ou3E7G1B+Rme5f+9/lmpucHKOkZYlRQGqyo8ZFk1d+F7+v5lrqdyS6HB0DmnfS80 dD7QNFiJkR4/StRbbI+mWvmAV9FHwSFbrvPS20KuycM3jQLMPX+GeJNCl9/XrL9l 2RV0Lw/ZbuT3CLs7tdDpjfkh4lzlcCITO/kMLj8s42m/Muud4n503zqc/QmfcrT9 gEBv4k30QcSWcmPo6xmo92pTlHZ6vA== =WZSF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------2x9N9wteZY75hkXTrvTOII22--
