Yet another physicist joins the ranks of gentoo :) So we have a few
things in common: I'm a ph.d in physics from cornell, I too am of
Italian descent but born in Canada and living in the US. If you haven't
already, you should meet Andreas (aka dilfridge) yet another physicist.
There's a few of us in gentoo.

Thank you everyone for the welcoming messages! It's nice to see a few
fellow physicists around here.
Also, a big thank you to Ruud (redlizard), Benda (heroxbd), Fabian
(grobian), and Markos (hwoarang) for mentoring and recruiting me.
Despite recent discussions about the recruiting process and how some
people think it should be changed, I have to say that for me it was very
enjoyable to go through the process and it certainly feels great to
finally be a part of Gentoo.
Cheers,
—Guilherme

Yes, are there any others? Or are we the only ones? Unfortunately,
I will only be back in Brazil in May. I am currently at Fermilab
for work. When I get back we can meet for a beer and chat about
Gentoo and open source.
Meanwhile, if there are any devs based in Chicago and extended area
that would like to have a Gentoo meetup, I'd surely be up for that.
Best,
—Guilherme

We have another brazilian involved with Gentoo, pilla, that helps with
forums moderation, IIRC. I met him a few years ago at FISL :)
